About Us

Corseside Nursery is a family-run nursery on the West Coast of Pembrokeshire (Wales, UK).

Corseside Nursery is an RHS Gold Medal award winning family run business headed up by keen horticulturalist Sandra Williams. Essentially a hobby that got out of hand, Sandra has been running the Nursery from the family home in Pembrokeshire since 1997.

Sandra has a strong passion for sustainability in all areas of the business having always been a peat free and pesticide free Nursery. The 100% home-grown stock has developed in response to growing climate concerns; propagating plants that don’t rely heavily on irrigation, heating or feeding. Succulents and hardy exotics feature heavily due to their drought tolerant nature. Visitors enjoy exploring a treasure trove of weird and wonderful recycled planters in the Nursery grounds which sparked off one of the more recent business ventures; offering creative succulent design workshops.

Since the coronavirus pandemic, Sandra now works closely with her eldest daughter Rosie offering a mail order service for the home-grown succulents. Locked up together and out of work during the pandemic, Sandra and Rosie put their unique skills together and launched a new online venture. The business is now going from strength to strength serving customers across the UK and Northern Ireland.

Have a look at our stock pages and our shop for more information about the plants we grow. We also blog regularly about our business activity and the area in which we grow to give you some context about our growing conditions and our ethos.

We are primarily a wholesale and online business so it is advised to ring ahead if you plan to visit the nursery in person. Our normal hours of 10am-4pm(ish).

Meet the team!

Sandra Williams

Captain

Corseside Nursery is essentialy a hobby that got out of hand. Sandra started growing and selling hardy perennials in 1997 where she sold plants in milk cartons to locals. Over the past 20 years Sandra discovered a real passion for succulents and a local demand for coastal hardy hedging which steered the growth of the business.

Rosie Prosser

Navigator

Rosie joined the family business in 2019 to help develop our online presence. Rosie has since launched our online shop and now manages our website and social media accounts. Rosie loves herbs and medicinal plants and has become a complete succulent addict over the last 4 years!

Our Ethos

Our ethos is to be as green and sustainable as possible starting with our use of locally sourced, peat free and organic compost to our recycled pots and home-grown produce.
