This listing is for a carefully packaged Aloe Nobilis that has been well rotted in a 3″ pot. The plants are grown in locally sourced, organic (peat free!) compost in South West Wales (UK). The plants will be sent in their pots carefully packaged for post.
Aloe Nobilis is a striking, easy-to-grow Aloe. Cousin to the popular ‘Vera’, Nobilis is much less temperamental and grows much thicker, fleshier foliage with small ‘tooth-like’ spikes down the leaf edges. Nobilis is clump-forming, offshooting readily to form a dense carpet of decorative rosettes. Aloe Nobilis has show-stopping orange and red flowers which shoot up on panicles like red hot pokers during summer.
Aloe Nobilis has been known to survive temperatures as low as -3 so would fair well in a UK coastal garden.
