1 x Cotyledon tomentosa (‘Bear Paw’) – Well Rooted Succulent
This listing is for one carefully packaged, well-rooted Cotyledon tomentosa, more commonly known as the ‘Bear Paw’ plant.
Why ‘Bear Paw’?
This is one of our favourites. The name comes from its distinctive, velvety leaves, each tipped with tiny jagged edges that turn a rich brown in summer sun – giving them the look of little bear paws. A plant that’s always a talking point and a must-have for any succulent collection.
How they’re grown:
Our plants are propagated by stem cuttings (this variety does not grow from leaves) and raised in locally sourced, organic, peat-free compost here in South West Wales (UK).

Easy-care houseplant:
Succulents thrive on minimal fuss, making these low-maintenance plants perfect for busy homes. Best kept indoors in the UK, but can enjoy summer outdoors (frost-sensitive). Suitable for windowsills, conservatories, terrariums, mixed displays, or any well-draining container.
Unlike many succulents, Bear Paw tolerates shadier spots and does well in bright but indirect light, making it one of the easiest to accommodate.
