This listing is for a carefully packaged well rooted Crassula Capitella or ‘Camp Fire’ / ‘Fire Cracker’ grown in locally sourced, organic (peat free!) compost in South West Wales (UK). The plants are available as rooted plugs or potted, larger plants. – Please select from drop-down menu. Crassula Capitella is a species of succulent plant in the Crassulaceae (stone crop) family. This variety is a free branching succulent that stands upright and can grow very bushy if in larger pots. If left in the shade this succulent will usually keep an apple green colour all year around. However, if put in a sunny spot, during UK summer months it will develop a fabulous red glow to the edges of it’s leaves. It is an easily cared for plant; happy in low light and in brighter spots.
Succulents thrive on neglect, so these are low maintenance, easy to care-for indoor plants that can live outside in the UK during the summer months (they don’t like frost!). They are perfect in terrariums, fairy gardens and any well-drained pot/container.
