This listing is for a carefully packaged well rooted Crassula Muscosa ‘Watchchain’ succulent grown in locally sourced, organic (peat free!) compost in South West Wales (UK). The plants are available as well rooted plugs or 3″ potted plants.
Crassula Muscosa otherwise known as the ‘Watchchain’ or ‘rattail’ succulent grows strands of upright foliage that have the impression of interlocking chains. Watchchain is a spreading succulent and if given the space will develop into a small bush-like mound. Watchchain is a very unique looking succulent popular in terrariums and in window-sill planters.
As a native plant of South Africa and Namibia this succulent enjoys life in a warm, dry environment such as a greenhouse, sunny windowsill or conservatory. We have found it prefers a shadier spot to keen the foliage a lushus apple green.
Succulents thrive on neglect, so these are low maintenance, drought tolerant, easy to care-for indoor plants. They are perfect in terrariums and fairy gardens and any well-drained pot/container on a window sill, conservatory or greenhouse.
