Rhipsalis Cereuscula ‘Dancing Bones’

This listing is for a carefully packaged very well rooted Rhipsalis Cereuscula grown in locally sourced, organic (peat free!) compost. The plants are available as well rooted, potted plants (pots approx. 7cm diameter) or well rooted plug modules. We send our potted plants in their pots to protect the root systems. The plug modules are sent carefully wrapped.
This fabulously unique Rhipsalis has many a nickname – ‘Dancing Bones’ ‘Coral Cactus’ ‘Rice Cactus’ ‘Mistletoe Cactus’. And it is technically a cactus! It gets its name from the jointed foliage segments that make up the gravity defying clumps that this succulent sends out. It reminds me of balloon modelling! This plant gets a full covering of little flowers in the summer months.
Our mother plants seem really happy in suspended hanging baskets where they can shoot out their hanging branches. It makes for an incredibly architectural plant. Rhipsalis Cereuscula seems to be fairly fast growing by all accounts and does well in bright in-direct light and more shaded areas. It would make the perfect house plant in a home office or indoor kitchen jungle.
