This listing is for 1 x well rooted Senecio Rowleyanus – ‘String of Pearls’ in a 6cm Baby Nursery pot. (Your plant will be sent in it’s pot to protect the roots).
One of our most requested succulents, the ‘String of Pearls’ is a beautiful trailing succulent with unique round ‘pearl-like’ foliage. It enjoys strong, indirect light but can also tolerate semi-shade fairly well. You will often see this show stopper pouring out of hanging baskets or planters in macramé hangers as it loves to trail. We love it bubbling out of pots on high shelves too.
String of pearls can be tricky to grow if you get the watering wrong. A small line on the pearl swells to make the pearl look like an eye when the plant is full of water. Someone told us that “if the eyes are shut, it needs watering. If the eyes are open it doesn’t” We have found this really useful.
String of Pearls would make a fabulous house plant in a bright space like a conservatory or south facing room.
