This listing is for a well rooted Sedum Pachyclados ‘White Diamond’ stonecrop grown here at Corseside Nursery in locally sourced, organic, peat free compost. The plants are available as well rooted plug modules or larger potted plants (pot size approx. 3″ diameter).
Sedum Pachyclados is a low growing, clump forming, spreading outdoor hardy succulent. It makes for fabulous ground cover as it spreads between and over the edges of cracks, pots and rockeries. The miniature rosette heads of the ‘White Diamond’ are similar to the tender Echeveria in shape with a lovely blue/grey colour. This dainty succulent gets it’s name from the little rain drops that collect at the centre of these rosettes and sparkle like diamonds when the sun shines again. Small blush pink flowers will cover it’s foliage in late summer.
Please note that this rockery sedum closes it’s rosette heads during the UK cold winter months as it enters a period of dormancy.
This succulent would be most happy in a well draining sunny spot.
