We have been working with local ceramicist Zoe of Abbott Ceramics to create this unique and stunningly hand-crafted leaf propagation gift set.
What’s include:
- 1 x Leaf propagation dish designed in partnership with Abbott Ceramics of Pembrokeshire. The dish has been purposely designed to house approximately 10-15 succulent leaf cuttings. Handmade here in Pembrokeshire and finished in a beautiful ‘Seafoam Green’, the dish has been left un-glazed in the centre to help absorb, yet retain moisture in the dish. This will help maintain the ideal level of moisture for the little leaf cuttings to soak up over a 4-6 week period of propagation. The dish also features a spiral water reservoir in the base to further help with water management. The dish can be used over and over again and will make a beautiful keepsake!
- 1 x bag of crushed shell. The shell is provided for you to fill your dish before placing the leaf cuttings into it. Crushed shell is our bed of choice for all leaf propagation here at Corseside Nursery. It helps keep the contact area of the leaves free from sitting water so they don’t rot or generate mould, whilst retaining a low level of moisture to allow them plenty to drink. We also love the way it looks!
- 1 x box of un-rooted succulent leaf cuttings. We will provide a minimum of 10 different succulent leaf cuttings for you to use in your dish. This will be a seasonal selection taken from our home-grown mother plants here at Corseside Nursery in Pembrokeshire.
- 1 x Handwritten gift note. Please send us a message of your choice to be included in your giftbox (not compulsory if you are treating yourself!)
- 1 x Care instructions. We will provide full care instructions to get you on your way. Our contact details will also be included should you or your loved ones have any questions about the process of leaf propagation
